I don’t post much about Groove Thang but I really should. Here is a raw clip from KLCC Wednesday class. I’ve been having a lot of fun dancing with this bunch. All smiles, always a party. ��Groove Thang is the only class that has a 100% success rate of lifting my mood no matter what. It is also a beginners friendly, party grooves class where I get to meet and dance with people from all walks of life. I then get to convert them to dance fans. It’s very exciting and fulfilling.��They are also people who come and stay for the music selection which makes me feel very very cool. Playlist/mix played in class is mainly 90s/2000s R&B and some Hip Hop. Sometimes we do soul, disco, a lil funk. Sometimes my students shares music with me! I love the spirit of Groove Thang. ��I can’t wait to be back teaching Groove Thang again. In the meantime, @donnaholiwod will be teaching Groove Thang via Zoom. First class happening this evening at 6pm. More info on @babel.dance highlights. If you need a blast of good vibes for you and or family/housemates/partner, this is it. Child friendly. Age, dance level, emotional capacity. Come as you are.

We did a collab and it feels goood. Proud of you @oliviaxliew. More to come. 😉 #TEAMMAYHEM 💪🏽 . Can’t wait to dance in heels when my knees are better. For now I will overcompensate with less clothing. Enjoy. . @babel.dance Pop up collab classes happens every 3rd Saturday of the month. We will take a break this month and continue next month. Having friends in this space over the weekend had me missing the days of dancing with them, hearing their cheers in class and cheering on em. I cannot stress how important it is that we cheer/make weird sounds for each other in class. Having the courage and commitment to go for class is already something worth shouting for, to put yourself out there in front of everyone and dance your butt off despite the the self judgement? I would give everyone🎖 if I could. So scream yo ass off. Pls, I urge you to use up all the vowels. EVERY CLASS. FOR EVERYONE. Including yourself. Shout out to the screamers/shouters/woowoos who has always kept class vibes alive. Song: The Boy is Mine Artiste: @brandy
